Sara & Charles

We knew from the beginning we wanted an intimate wedding. The first trip we took as a couple was to the Smoky Mountains and it was a place we know we’ll come back to many times - so we decided on that right away.
Then we discovered Skywalk Treehouse - four luxury tree houses connected by bridges, surrounded by towering trees, and lit at night by bistro lights - creating the most tranquil and magical place for us and some of our family to stay for the weekend. Everything else came together pretty easily after that.
Our 20 guests were traveling from across 6 different states, so we had a hike Friday morning and a welcome reception that night at the treehouse for everyone to spend some more time together. On the wedding day, we went to separate treehouses to get ready before having our first look there. Next, we had our ceremony at a site overlooking the mountains, followed by our reception at a little flower farm nearby. One of our favorite parts of the day was having all of our friends and family gathered around the table for the most incredible meals by Farm to Feast. Everything truly came together perfectly.
