Taylor and I have known each other since the ninth grade. We were great friends and hung out in the same circles throughout our high school years. While we always had feelings for one another, the timing just never seemed to work out. When we graduated, Taylor moved to Nashville to pursue his career in the music industry. While he was away, we communicated every now and then and kept up with one another, always interested in what the other was doing. As fate would have it, Taylor was relocated back to Charlotte for a music opportunity a few years after moving. We reconnected almost instantly and have been together ever since. Looking back, we've realized that the time we spent as friends for so many years laid the foundation for the amazing relationship that we have.
