In memory of Samantha (Sam) Miller Hutchinson, who tragically lost her life on her wedding day after departing her reception, when the low-speed golf cart they were riding in was struck by an alleged drunk driver. The groom and two other family members were seriously injured.
Sam loved living in Charleston on James Island by the beach and going there for sunrises and sunsets. She loved the beach so much that she chose an oceanfront Folly wedding venue. Sam spent many months planning her dream beach wedding, down to every little detail, and it was perfect. We wish she could have seen these photos and how magical the day was. The happiness that day and the love this couple shared was apparent to everyone.
Sam had a beautiful heart, she loved life and lived every moment to the fullest. She had a lifetime of plans ahead of her with her husband. She lit up everywhere she entered. Sam's light was so great, that even after she is gone, her light remains. Sam was the type of person who, after you met her, you were forever changed for the better.
In Sam's memory, please use this tragedy as a reminder to take accountability as it relates to impaired or dangerous driving.
