COVER FEATURE WEDDING
My husband was my first ever date, my high school sweetheart, my first real kiss, and my one true love. We were each other’s high school prom date and ever since then, we've been inseparable. We were in a long distance relationship for ten years, which involved me being off in medical school for a number of years and him being deployed to Afghanistan for some time.
We were actually supposed to get married two years earlier, but due to COVID we couldn't, since he was in North Carolina and I was living in Florida. We didn't even see each other for around six months. Our first wedding date was canceled the weekend before the event! We scheduled two other dates which were both canceled by the venues. When our day finally came near, the venue caught on fire. Because of all of that, we had to make our wedding day just as special as our relationship… and man, was our day special!
The day was filled with love and magic from the flowers and bouquets, to the wonderful music and my two beautiful princess dresses. Thanks to our wonderful vendors and our awesome family and friends that stood to witness our lasting connection, the day couldn't have been more perfect!
