Kristen & Canaan

Once upon a time there was a young girl and boy who attended a little church in Marshall, NC. Over time, our friendship grew. I [Kristen] was head over heels, and I felt like he barely noticed me. As time went on, things began to change, and he finally asked me out! I thought, “Is this a dream – someone pinch me.” Call me crazy, but I just knew I was going to marry him one day.

We dated for about a year and a half but ended up going our separate ways for a couple of years while still attending the same church every week. One day, after church, we started playing corn hole, and we hit things off all over again. A lot had changed, since we had both grown and matured, but everything else fell right back into place. Seven months later, he got down on one knee at Dollywood. Four short (but also long) months later on a snowy spring day in April, we became Mr. and Mrs Peek at the same place where it all began at Arrington Branch Baptist Church.
