Cam and I met at church in 2019 after my mom actually approached him and tried to set us up. While it was embarrassing, we all laugh about it now. I ended up thanking her later because it worked out! We dated for about a year, and Cam proposed at the top of Table Rock Mountain after a beautiful hike. It was a complete surprise and so unexpected! We got married about a year later. We wanted to keep the wedding close to Western NC with a comfortable environment for our friends and family. We chose to get married at The Pond at Laurel Cove, and it was absolutely perfect. We got married on a rare, cool evening in September, and everyone put in so much effort to make it a beautiful ceremony for us. We chose to do a first look, and we both loved it because we were able to spend some special time together before the ceremony. We were surrounded by so much love, and I wish we could go back and do it all over again! The wedding and celebration with the people we love was amazing, but it was just the jumpstart for an amazing marriage. We both look back on our wedding with joy, but I speak for both of us when I say our love for each other has grown every day since, and we look forward to loving each other forever!
