Our story began 8 years ago.

Matt and I first met in high school. I dated his friend, and he dated mine (funny, I know). After graduating, we left to attend different colleges. We always remained in touch, but our paths did not cross again for a couple of years. We reconnected after coming home from college and have been inseparable since.

On December 4, 2019, Matt proposed to me in New York City! It was magical, snowy, intimate, and everything I could have ever wanted. We lived in engagement bliss despite the negativity and struggles of planning a wedding in the midst of COVID-19.

After pushing our wedding back once, we celebrated the most unforgettable day on Saturday, October 23, 2021. It was a perfect fall day in Charlotte, NC. We gathered with and were celebrated by all our friends and family who love and cherish us, and that is all we could have ever asked for. The day was filled with white roses and hydrangeas, beautiful gold accents, tributes to our golden retriever, Lulu, lots of food and cocktails, music that just made you want to get up and dance, and so much love!

As a little girl, I never dreamt of my wedding day, but Matt changed all of that for me. I could not wait to marry him and call him my husband. I could not wait to twirl in my dress that made me cry when I first tried it on, and to see his face as I walked down the aisle. I could not wait to stand in front of God, our family and our friends and say I DO! That alone was the ultimate fairy tale.
