Andrew and I met in 2014 through mutual friends and remained solely friends for the next six years. Neither of us in a million years imagined we would end up where we are now. I think both of us can honestly say that God definitely had a plan when putting us together.
Andrew and I started dating in August 2020 when we went on a friend’s trip to the mountains in West Virginia, and the rest is history. We bought a house in Delaware and decided to spend the rest of our lives together. We are both very family-oriented and knew we wanted a personal wedding with our closest family and friends. After many attempts to find a venue, nothing stuck out to us. We decided to go a different route than most people do. We rented a million-dollar mansion on the beaches of the Outer Banks, and invited 100 of our closest family and friends to help us celebrate the week.
We are so thankful to have so many amazing people in our lives who helped us make our day everything we could’ve dreamed of! Family friends prepared and served our dinner, my aunt made hundreds of cookies for our dessert bar, my best friend’s mom created my beautiful bouquet, table centerpieces, all our signage, and so much more that made everything beautiful! This truly was a family affair and we are forever grateful.
