Anthony & Kelly

Anthony and Kelly met while attending a rigorous 6-month military training course at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Their relationship has been far from easy, as they faced much separation, grief, and heartbreak during their time getting to know one another. While in school, Kelly found out her mother had been diagnosed with cancer. Shortly after graduating, her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and it wasn’t long before he passed away. During both of these trying times, Anthony was always there for Kelly as a faithful friend.

Military life eventually caught up to both of them, and Anthony was soon deployed followed by Kelly several months later. They still managed to foster their friendship during their deployment. Within a few months, Kelly’s grandmother passed away, followed by her mother a few months after. Anthony was there for Kelly during this seemingly-impossible time, but military obligations stepped in again, and Anthony had to deploy once more. During deployment, Kelly and Anthony officially began dating.

Upon returning, Anthony found out his grandfather would soon pass away. Now, it was Kelly’s turn to be there for him. As their relationship continued to grow, they realized they were in this for the long haul. Just three days before Kelly left for deployment, Anthony proposed. Following another short reunion, Anthony left for a year-long tour in Korea before they got married.

Then, perfection in this crazy imperfect world happened on May 26, 2022 at Taylor Ranch in Asheville, North Carolina. Kelly and Anthony got married surrounded by all their friends and family from Hawaii to Ireland. It rained, but it was beautiful and perfect.
