Miranda & Marty
MAY 13, 2023
We moved to Asheville from Ohio in the winter of 2022. It only seemed right to have our wedding take place in our new state. We almost eloped, but decided to have a small, intimate wedding with about sixty guests instead. Looking back, we definitely made the right decision.
The Pond at Laurel Cove could not have been a more perfect venue. The beautiful farmhouse overlooking the idyllic pond, surrounded by nature, was exactly what we envisioned. All of our vendors went above and beyond to make our day special. We could not have done it without all their help. They brought all of our ideas to life.
Our day played out better than anticipated. We had a short, but very heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by our families and closest friends. Later, our favorite ice cream shop was on site, scooping and serving up dessert. We also had a cigar bar, which was a huge hit with our guests. Our After The Tone guestbook was the icing on the cake. The recordings we received are very special messages from our favorite people that we will hold onto forever.
The rest of the night consisted of dancing, laughing, talking and being with our most loved people. It was a culmination of months and months of preparation and planning. All of the hard work paid off in a way that is beyond words. We will never forget this day. It will forever be one of the best days of our lives.
