Georgia & Lucas
Lucas and I ironically met at a wedding. He was the DJ, and I was in medical school. Our connection was instant, and since then, we've been inseparable. We wanted our wedding to reflect our love for adventure and freedom while ensuring our guests had a great time.
Our vision was to create an adult summer camp experience for everyone, and the venue perfectly matched that. With a creek, bonfire pits, 10 airstreams for the bridal party, and a charming treehouse, it had everything we wanted. The weekend began with "treehouse toasts" for family and the bridal party, followed by a welcome party by the creek with a vintage cocktail truck and pizza food truck.
The wedding day itself was like a dream. Our amazing photographer surprised me with a first look in a nearby wildflower field, where the flowers perfectly matched my bouquet. We danced through the field, cheered on by passing cars and surrounded by butterflies and honeybees (and a few other insect guests caught in the tulle of my dress).
To sum up the day in two words: overwhelming JOY. Notable highlights included a serene meditation to start the ceremony, a fun cocktail hour with axe throwing and an airstream bar, and an unforgettable reception ending with a lively silent disco that got everyone involved. With the support of our loved ones, talented vendors, a beautiful venue, and our deep love for each other, it easily became the best day of our lives!
