Brooke & Brandon
Brooke and Brandon tied the knot with their children, friends, and family in a renovated 100-year-old dairy barn with dried florals hanging from the ceiling. It was the perfect place for these two sweet southern souls to say, “I do.” Brooke is known in Asheville for being a bohemian queen, and there were touches throughout the day that were so “her.” From the feathers along her bouquet to the boots she wore with the most intricately designed lace dress – everything about her bridal look was true to “her.”
She shared a sweet first look with her brother and her son – her son’s reaction bringing everyone who it saw to tears. Brooke’s late father, who she was so close with, was honored in so many ways throughout the wedding day. Her son walked her down the aisle carrying his leather jacket, which Brooke placed on a chair just for him. Then, later, she shared a dance with her brother while wearing it – it was like he got to walk her down the aisle and have the father-daughter dance with her.
The couple spent the afternoon and evening toting their littlest kids around and dancing with them. It was a day that unfolded as it was intended to – entirely centered on family. They served breakfast for dinner (the perfect addition to their wedding), and they stayed true to the vibe they were aiming for – providing comfort and familiarity of a relaxing and fun get-together with loved ones on a cool winter day. Only, you know, in fancy clothes and their best boots, of course.
